Empoli's president Fabrizio Corsi confirmed that these are important days for the future of the club and for the entry of potential new partners. "It has become increasingly difficult to find the energy to move forward on our own, so we are looking for someone who can accompany us, who can give us a bit of breathing room." He added that they are conducting negotiations to find the best solution and that his hope is that within the next two weeks, they can open up real negotiations. Fabio Caserta's contract is set to expire on June 30th and the club is evaluating all possible options before making a final decision. "We have spoken with Caserta and are making our evaluations, just as we are evaluating other profiles who have done well in Serie C." He reiterated his confidence in the young players grown up in the blue nursery. "Perhaps never like this year our nursery has had this consistency, from the groups of 2007 to the smallest of 2014 there are excellent prospects."
