Empoli Football Club is taking to the field to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a month dedicated to prevention and awareness of breast cancer. The club is renewing its commitment to supporting women and associations that fight every day for health, awareness, and research. This year, Empoli will be at the forefront of promoting a culture of prevention and taking concrete actions to support women's well-being. During the month, Empoli Football Club is launching a special collaboration with Clinica Leonardo, dedicated to all female season ticket holders and all women who purchase a ticket for the next two home games at the Carlo Castellani Computer Gross Arena against Venezia and Sampdoria. Thanks to this initiative, it will be possible to access a selection of services dedicated to “Women's Prevention” with a 10% discount on Clinica Leonardo's price list. A concrete gesture to promote women's health and encourage prevention as a tool for protection and awareness. Rebecca Corsi, CEO and Vice President of Empoli, says: “We are happy to be able to link the name of Empoli to an initiative that talks about health, prevention, and closeness to women”. And also during the remaining three games of the month of October, the first team will take to the field with a distinctive pink sign on their jerseys, a symbol of participation and closeness to all women who are facing the disease and their families. At the end of the games, the jerseys worn by the players will be auctioned off, and the entire proceeds will be donated to the Centro Donna di Empoli, to support its activities of support, listening, and prevention in the area. So the collaboration with Clinica Leonardo is a concrete example of how Empoli Football Club can make a difference in the community. But not only that: the auction of the pink jerseys will also be an opportunity to raise funds and support breast cancer research. Empoli Football Club is proud to be able to support this important cause and contribute to making a difference in the lives of women.
